The city of Porto Torres
Porto Torres is a modern city in northern Sardinia with an harbor; this is one of the main landing points for tourists, who chose ferries to reach the island.
Near the city there is an industrial area, but you can find also signs of a secular past. The Romans founded this city, indeed, in the first century BC.
Today, you can admire here the remains of the Roman bridge and the Antiquarium Turritano museum.
