Romangia is a territorial area located in the north of Sardinia overlooking the Gulf of Asinara; it is mainly composed of the municipalities of Sorso and Sennori.
The territory is varied: flat in the area towards the sea, hilly in the hinterland.
The name Romangia presumably derives from the presence of settlements from the Roman era.
